Pop Art!

 

 

I designed these t shirts and shoes through my love of pop art and vibrant colours.

I created a sketchbook filled with my ideas and progress to coincide with these final designs.

 

I wanted to create something creatively original and interesting to look at. Extensive research was done of pop art artists and styles  to come up with my designs which I drew in pencil and gave to a local printing company to heat press on to the t shirts. 

 

The shoes, however, were created by drawing on in fabric pens and was designed this way as I wanted a way of connecting the two shoes together with the same design which resulted in my idea of "Ka-pow!" ("Ka-" on one, and "pow!" on the other).

 

I thoroughly enjoyed this project and would suggest it to anyone who is interested in graphic design or just loves to be creative! :)
